trip to Croatia -6th Day-

The day we had to get back to Italy by ferry.
Ferry from Split (Croatia) to Ancona (Italy)....
a little happening before we get ferry....
apart from "that" everything was fine. lovely trip.
Let's put the car in the ferry and Let's get back to Italy!
hmmm this normal massive ferry is still the same as 50 years ago.

anyway somehow safe back in Italy.
Dropped in at Verona for the Lunch and finally at Home.
here in Marostica is safe and calm....
Don't know why, why it feels better here....
well end of holiday, but somehow feels relief.

Probably this could be typical holiday here but for us...
Quite unusual holiday....

trip to Croatia -5th Day-

crossing the border of Bosnia and again border to get Croatia.
here we are, it's Dubrovnik....
weather is lovely everything is fine here.
as soon as we got here, got place to stay for 2 nights.
I am free I don't have to drive like a hell just take it easy in this beautiful old city.
during the day,well even from the morning on the beach.
during the evening walking around the city, having a couple of Gin Tonics
in front of Jazz Band at the cosy corner...
well... in the end we stayed the same place for 2 night....
of course with a couple of Gin Tonics....

when we left Dubrovnik...well when we wanted to take a photo,
weather wasn't so nice....only this moment that clouds appeared...
Lucky us!

trip to Croatia -3rd Day or 4th Day-

well...it was maybe already 3rd day when we got the beach at last.
we were searching local beach, not that touristic beach that full of people....
Yes we got there but it was all rock kind of beach.
apparently Croatia is full of rock beach.
got the place to lay down by the sea.
well I am already dark enough to stay in the beach so directly into the water!
not too cold not too warm, great feeling without anyone else.(of course there were a few...)
My friend white pig from London, he had to bake himself first...

Trip to Croatia -2nd Day-

Trip to croatia.
1st day, I picked up my friend at the airport in Treviso and directly to Croatia.
luckily we booked hotel for first day...Hotel looked beautiful from outside.
but inside of the hotel was quite sad... still it reminds socialism kind of things.

well...2nd day, we drove to Plitvice Lakes National Park...
it consists with 16 lakes and a lot of waterfalls...

the water is really clear and clean.and we took a 3-4 hours tour.
but this tour is kind of free tour that we can walk around with our own pace...
it is beautiful and quite fresh walking down there

some waterfalls reminds me some kind of japaneseness in it...

fishes are also really friendly.
2nd was only drive, a lot of lakes and talk....
really late evening finally we got a place to stay....

trip to Toscana -2nd Day-

well.. well.. well...
typical touristic place in italy.
this is the place everyone can be stupid... maybe once in my life...
probably as always...
nearly everyone was holding this tower which is nearly falling down...
in fact everyone is holding air...,stupid pose....

2nd day was a disaster.
tried every single hotels, agriturismo and everything.... nothing's available....
getting really late....that place was last place I could try....
the guy from the place said... "si non c'e problema"
finally found the place to stay in the middle of forest.
and luckily there is also a restaurant.
it was kind of late dinner but,really yummy local food.
thanks it was really lovely trip.

Trip to Toscana.

well... without any plan, just drive the car to somewhere...
didn't want to go to kind of big cities..
at last got the place to stay in Lucca,
Lucca is kind of lovely cosy town.
The hotel was also kind of cute, really old house...
and a bit of sightseeing....
and there is a tower and some trees are on top of the tower...
looks lovely, why not! let's get there!

in italy anyway it's always this kind of roofs. always nice from the top.

Trattoria di Ciccio

Thursday evening... pretty everyone is gone on holiday...
I am still here in country, and a few colleagues are here.
It's been funny that this week, I am never be hungry...
I always want to cook something at home and I bought a lot of fish yesterday.
but I didn't feel like eating something...maybe I ate tons of Gelato?

anyway I've been to Trattoria di Ciccio... Ciccio wasn't there.
I ordered a bit of pasta and we shared the meat...
well actually hmmmm buonissimo.

I would love to come here when I am really hungry...

cotoletta giapponese

今日はなぜか久しぶりにカツカレー。
cotoletta milaneseに対抗してcotoletta giapponeseと称してカツカレー。
今日は結構蒸し暑い。
でもこんな日にはやっぱりカレー。
Bombay Sapphaireでさっぱりジントニック。
たらふく食べたなぁ。
確かこの後もGelato食べたような気がするなぁ。
ま、これこそ幸せな日々ですな。
