Tannery Trip In Toscana -Afternoon-

so... this is the one of the most Grotesque part of process.
The salted skins arrived and cut in a few pieces...
this is the right before the Tanning process.

looks quite tough job....isn't it?

Lunch in Toscana.

イタリア、トスカーナと言えば。。。飯。
この旅は食べまくったなぁ。木曜の夜もなかば強制的に
フィオレンティーナ（ステーキ）をレストランのオヤジに頼まされ
死にそうになりながら食べきった。。。

そして今日金曜日の昼もまたもやフィオレンティーナ。
あわわ、厚さ６cmはあるステーキ、中はもちろん赤身。。。
コレこそフィオレンティーナ。それに白トリュフのスライスをのせて。。
"Buonissimo"

一番上の写真はスターターのチーズフォンドゥ（トリュフのせ）
その後２番目の写真のスターター、さらにパスタ、そしてこのステーキ。
おなかはパンパンだったけどやっぱりデザートは別腹？
パンナコッタをしっかり完食。
（この後の工場見学のことをしっかり考えて食べるんだった。。。）

Tannery Trip In Toscana.

well well well... I had been longing this trip for ages and at last I am here!
"Tannery trip in Toscana"
we arrived in small village called Montopli where actually I have been a few months ago
by accident during the holiday trip in Toscana.
I remember we were looking for a place to stay in this are but couldn't find lovely places.
there it is...it's kind of cute hotel in village.

this village has one main street... tha's all...

so, Here we are! "Tannery Calro Badalassi"
they do 100% vegetable tanning.
well... I have been to Tannery in Japan which is of course not Vegetable Tannery.
and Here small is totally different! it doesn't small bad....
normally tannery smalls like hell....

He is the Signore Badalassi.
it can immediately tell that he is really lovely person,
making leather without chemical products...
so that is why they don't produce white leather...
(to make white leather you need some kind of chemical effect...)

Recovered

after Food Poisoning....
fish from another place... much much much better...
well... with this dish, it feels like winter is right there.

Is This The Problem?

噂のかき揚げ丼。
ホタテとエビのかき揚げ丼。
はぁ。誰もこのおいしそうなdinnerの後に食中毒でやられちゃうなんて
思わないよね。。。
１週間は死んでいました。
痩せたし。
まぁいいダイエットになったかな。

Chicken Sticks

またまた”飯”に。
今日は焼き鳥。グリルもないしオーブントースターもない。
結局普通のオーブンで。。。
その翌日、かなりスタイリッシュなオーブントースターを
チャリティーショップにて発見。しかも新品。
買おうと思ったけど、やめた。
焼き鳥のためだけに！？
いや、ちょっと待て、焼きおにぎりもできるし、ガーリックトーストも
できるし結構いろいろ使えそう。。。でも荷物が増えるし。。。
あぁでも買っとけば良かった。
